Through the study of human anatomy and the harmony of the human body, he has over time mastered a variety of techniques, from watercolor to gouache, and eventually acrylics and oil for larger-scale projects.
His visual repertoire includes introspective works as well as pieces that examine collective and social identities. Light and color are the raw materials used to enhance forms, yet there is never an imposition of a singular interpretation, allowing aesthetics to take center stage.
In his latest series, “Idle”, the theme of identity is addressed through the fragmentation and reassembly of the subject. Idle aims to explore the existential theme of belonging to oneself, memory as the ancestral glue that holds us together, and its fragility—capable of shattering the self into countless pieces when it falters.
